Welcome!
My name is Romilla (ro-MEE-lah) Syed (sai-YED). I am an associate professor (tenured) of Information Technology/Systems at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I am also a Graduate Program Director (GPD) for MS Information Technology and MS Business Analytics, as well as certificate programs in Cybersecurity and Business Analytics. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
On the personal front, I live in the Greater Boston area with my husband, two kids (daughter and son), and our goldendoodle. In my free time, I like spending time with my family, cooking, and caring for pets and plants. I am a dog lover, avid runner, and yogi-in-training.
